Conference Location & Map
The 35th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and THz Waves (IRMMW-THz 2010) will be held at the Angelicum, Pontificia Universita' S. Tommaso d'Aquino, in the center of Ancient Rome.

Conference center is within walking distance from Metro line B station "Cavour" and "Colosseo" (700 and 800 meters distance).
Also Metro line A stations "Barberini" and "Repubblica" are about 1 km from the congress center (10-15 min walk)

To reach the Angelicum University in Largo Angelico 1 from the main railway station "Roma Termini", walk down Via Cavour
for about 500 m, then turn to the right in Via Panisperna and proceed till the end (700 m). The walk
takes about 15 minutes (see the map below).

If you wish to go by public bus, take the line 40 in Piazza dei Cinquecento
(every 5-10 minutes), direction Castel S. Angelo, get off after two stops at Nazionale/Quirinale, and walk
150 m to the conference site. A bus ticket costs 1,00 Euro.
Congress center floorplan
The congress center is fully equipped to host conferences and meetings with parallel events.
Several lecture rooms have been reserved for the IRMMW-THz 2010 Conference.


Center description
The main lecture hall “Aula Major” is an amphitheater with a capacity of 900 seats and is ideal to host the plenary
sessions and one of the parallel sessions of the Conference.

An additional amphitheater and three lecture halls of different size can host up to four parallel sessions in
classroom-style (with a capacity of 120 persons each).

The “Sala Colonne” with an area of about 400 m2 is available to host the Technical Exhibit.

A large cloister and a garden are available for registration, poster sessions, coffee breaks and relaxing moments
to conference participants.
