Detailed Instructions for Paper submission

 
These instructions are intended to guide you through the paper submission process, for IRMMW-THz 2010.
Please print out these instructions and read them very carefully! A pdf version of this file is available for download.

Electronic submission procedure opens June 7, 2010; prospective authors must electronically submit their Paper Summary in PDF format by July 9, 2010.

Authors must use the IEEE double-column format indicated in the MS Word Template. Copyrights transfer are needed for paper submission. Instructions for Copyrigth transfer will be online soon.

1. Create your initial submission using the MS Word template. There is a 2 page and a 2MByte limit on regular papers. Keynote presentations are allowed a 3 pages paper length. Plenary presentations are allowed a 4 pages paper length. Please do not exceed these limits and don't ask for exceptions.
2. You must follow the IEEE 2-column format specified in the template. Do not number the pages.
3. Convert your submission into IEEE Xplore compatible PDF using the IEEE PDF eXpress site. Enter irmmwthz10x for the Conference ID. Detailed instruction about the use of the pdf-express online PDF conversion tool can be found here.
4. When you are ready to submit your paper, go to the conference web site and click on "Upload your paper" in paper submission menu. A form will open requiring your access credentials. Use the Abstract_ID and Password your received by email when you submitted your contribution. If you need to search the original email message, it's subject is IRMMW-THz2010 Conference and the "From:" field is IRMMW-THz 2010 Secretariat (coming from irmmwthz2010@enea.it).
5. After logging in, click on your abstract title to open the submission form.
6. In Page 1 you can check your demographic details and correct them, if needed. Click the "Next" button at the bottom right corner to proceed.
7. In page 2 you will find data regarding your submission; please do not modify fields in this page.
8. TO UPLOAD YOUR PAPER PRESS THE ATTACH BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE
9. In the new window use the button "browse" to select your Paper pdf file. Then press the "Next >" button
10. The file will be uploaded to the conference archive and you will be redirected back to the submission page. Please check that the paper you uploaded is shown in the "Summary submission" section. If you need to change the file, simply press attach again and upload the new file (the old one will be overwritten)
11. Press the "Next" button to proceed to the Autors' Details. If you don't need to change the authors you can directly press the "Next" button at the bottom right corner. If you need to edit an Author, select it in the list and press the "Edit" button, perform changes and press "Save". You can also change the presenting author using this feature. Please note that only one presenting author is allowed.
12. After clicking "Next" the last page of the submission shows. In this page some of the relevant information about your submission are summarized. Your Paper id and Password are reported. You can print this page for your reference. A copy of this page will be sent to you at the email address indicated in the submission form when you press the FINISH button at the bottom of the page (if you check "I would Like To Receive An Email Confirmation").
13. Please note that, in order to complete the submission, you should press the FINISH button at the bottom of the page, otherwise, your paper submission will not be considered complete in our database and you will not receive the confirmation email.
14. When pressing "FINISH" a window will open confirming submission and asking if you want to go back to ligin page to upload another paper. Click "OK" if you want to upload another file (with a different ID, and different password). Click "Cancel" to close the page.
15. After a few minutes check if you received the email confirmation.

Please remember to submit your Copyright Transfer Form too.
